Every Thursday morning 9:30 am in the Gage Board Room Join Rabbi Bayar on Thursday mornings for study of the parsha. We will be studying the parsha for the upcoming week, paying special attention to how the commentators "reworked" the text to meet their societal needs. Feel free to bring your own translation.

Special Event for all 7th-12th Graders: History of the Hamas-Israel Conflict
Sunday, Nov 24th 9:00a to 11:00a
Featuring Special Guest Bruce Genderson Bruce Genderson, President of the Washington DC Region of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), and Past President of B'nai Tzedek, will lead a discussion of the history of Jewish and Arab settlement in the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea and of the conflict between the two peoples that began in the early 20th Century and continues to this day. This discussion will focus on that history, the history of attempts to reach a peace agreement, the current conflict with Hamas, and what steps should be taken by Israel and by nations in the West to increase the chance of one day obtaining a two-state solution that results in a lasting peace.
