Featuring Special Guest Bruce Genderson Bruce Genderson, President of the Washington DC Region of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), and Past President of B'nai Tzedek, will lead a discussion of the history of Jewish and Arab settlement in the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea and of the conflict between the two peoples that began in the early 20th Century and continues to this day. This discussion will focus on that history, the history of attempts to reach a peace agreement, the current conflict with Hamas, and what steps should be taken by Israel and by nations in the West to increase the chance of one day obtaining a two-state solution that results in a lasting peace.
