Movie night returns for its 7th season with a timely biographical comedy-drama film written and directed by Live Schreiber and starring Elijah Wood and Eugene Hutz

“Everything is Illuminated” tells the story or a young Jewish American man’s quest, with only a photograph in hand, to find the woman who saved his grandfather in a small Ukrainian town that was wiped off the map by the Nazi invasion in 1942. Elijah Woods stars as a buttoned -up Jonathan and Eugene Hutz plays his language-battering Ukrainian guide as cultures clash and the road leads where they want to go yet never expected.

Live Schreiber makes his debut on the other side of the camera, directing and adapting from Jonathan Safran Foe’s novel of the same name. Winner Venice Film Festival and Best Screenplay Sao Paulo International Film Festival.
